EquiPortal.co.uk providing free websites for the equestrian community

EquiPortal's commitment to the equestrian community is being demonstrated by offering free websites to groups of riders / owners, equestrian clubs and event organisers across the UK.
The two website templates being offered by EquiPortal are:

The 'Community Website', which is a version of http://www.equiportal.co.uk/ where owners will be able to publish their own news, show their own private events in the event calendar, run their own private forum and maintain their own 'About Us' page. Members of the site will also benefit from all the other features of EquiPortal (e.g. free monthly prize draw, directory, customisable homepage etc.), which will be further extended throughout the year. This template may be useful to clubs, groups of riders who want to keep in touch on-line, or livery yards that do not have their own website.

The 'Event Website', which is aimed at people who organise equestrian events. The website's pages will include: contact details, event dates and times, details of classes and fees, an on-line entry form and a results page.

http://www.equiportal.co.uk/ is actively looking for volunteers to trial each of the new types of websites over the coming months (email: admin@EquiPortal.co.uk to register your interest)

The sites will be funded by the use of discreet adverts on the web pages as can be seen in EquiPortals own site.

“By providing these websites we hope to strengthen the on-line equestrian community and also help smaller events to receive more attention without having to invest time and money creating their own website” Kelly Battye, EquiPortal Administrator.
